  18. Here's a question for all you lightwavers (something I don't do much).

  20. A video effect I really like is panning a camera over a still, you see it 
  21. in alot of documentaries. So I thought rather than all the hassle involved
  22. to do it with a camera why not lightwave? So I built a rectangular object
  23. put it in modeler loaded the Pat and Lisa picture planer mapped it to my 
  24. "screen" object and boom it worked. That picture is pretty poor res so I
  25. went to the next higher res in the camera panel (from medium) and asside from
  26. rendering speed no difference at least to my eye. So then I went to the 
  27. lowest res and once again no difference, except that the frame only took 
  28. about 6 seconds to render.

  30. Finally to my question, is it true that my mapped images' resolution 
  31. doesn't change with the camera panel's resolution or was I just not 
  32. looking at it in the right places? If this is true then this effect is 
  33. very accessible. It also makes me wonder about rendering loaded Flyer
  34. clips and compositing and the like.
